The Persona Editor lets you create and customize designer personas. A persona defines how your designs are branded and what default values are used throughout the Design Wizard.
What is a Persona?
Persona - The characteristics that a person projects in public.
In the context of Sewers, a persona is how you represent your work. You may have multiple personas, for instance, if you design for multiple organizations. You have to have at least one persona: the Default persona. Additionally, personas allow you to tweak how Sewers works for you by customizing the defaults and preferences used while designing.
Selecting a Persona
Use the dropdown at the top of the page to select which persona to edit. The Default persona is created automatically and always exists. You can create additional personas for different business identities or design contexts.
Preview
Click Preview to see how your letterhead, signature, and sign-off information will appear in a design report.
Saving
Click Save to save changes to the current persona. Changes take effect immediately for all designs using this persona.
Letterhead
The letterhead appears at the top of the first page of every design report. You can set it up in several ways:

Recommended letterhead image size: 1200 x 188 pixels.
Sign-Off Section
These fields identify you as the designer in the certification section and on invoices:

| Name - Organization | Your name and/or company name |
| Contact Info | Your full contact details (name, company, address, phone) — appears in the design certification |
| Remittance Info | Where to send payments — appears on invoices |
The Fill in from Account button copies your account contact information into the sign-off fields, saving you from re-entering the same data.
Signature
Upload an image of your signature or draw one here. This appears in the certification section of the design report.

Recommended size: 208 x 112 pixels.
Defaults
The Defaults tab lets you set default values that pre-populate wizard fields. These save time when you frequently design for similar conditions.
Each default is used as the initial value when you enter the corresponding wizard page for the first time in a new design. You can always override defaults on individual designs.
Preferences
The Preferences are your way to modify application behavior. Most are explained to the right of the preference.
Tips
- Configure your Default persona before creating your first design. The letterhead and signature are required for a professional-looking report.
- Use multiple personas if you design under different business names or for different jurisdictions with different default values.
- The surplus head setting in preferences directly affects which pumps and siphons qualify on selection pages — a higher value is more conservative but may disqualify some equipment.
- Review how your persona will look on a design by clicking the Preview button.
