Managing your saved designs
Navigation
The Design Navigator is your central hub for managing septic system designs. From here you can browse your saved designs, filter and search, review summaries, and take actions like editing, purchasing, or creating new designs.
Filtering
Status Filters
Radio buttons let you filter designs by status:

| Enabled, not printed | Purchased designs that haven’t been downloaded yet |
| Enabled, printed | Purchased designs that have been downloaded |

| Doesn’t have plot plan | Designs without a plot plan |
| Client Billing | |

| Has money owed | Designs with an outstanding invoice balance |
| Written off | Designs where the balance was written off |
| Paid in full | Designs where the invoice has been fully paid |
Text Search
The search box filters the list in real time as you type. The search matches against all fields: serial number, client name, address, city, state, zip code, phone, email, permit number, SEO, agency, and county. The search is case insensitive (“bob” and “Bob” are equivalent when searching).
Design List
The Design List panel displays a scrollable list of all your saved designs which match your filtering criteria from the first panel. Each entry shows the serial number, client name, and other identifying information. Click a design to select it and view its details in the summary panel.
Summary Panel
When a design is selected, the right panel shows:
- Serial number displayed prominently
- Design summary — client information, system type, dates, and status details
Action Buttons
| Button | Description |
|---|---|
| New | Create a new design — opens the Design Wizard to the blank design |
| Edit | Open the selected design in the Design Wizard for editing |
| Copy to New | Create a new design pre-populated with the selected design’s data and opens the Design Wizard to edit it |
| Review | Open the selected design to the Design Wizard’s Finish page to view, purchase, work on its plot plan, or download/print the design |
| Purchase | Open the Payment Manager to purchase the selected design |
| Plot Plan | Open the Plot Plan Editor to edit or create a plot plan for the selected design |
Tips
- Use the text search to quickly find designs by serial number, client info, or permitting agency info.
- The status filters help you track your workflow — for example, filter to “license not purchased” to see designs you have not yet completed.
