Persona
Navigation
The Persona page is the first step in every design. Here you select which designer profile to use. The persona controls default values, report branding, and display preferences for the rest of the wizard.
What Is a Persona?
A persona is a saved designer profile. It includes:
- Designer identification — name, company, license number
- Contact information — address, phone, email
- Letterhead and signature — images that appear on the finished design report
- Default values — preferred percolation rate, elevation, distance, flow rate, and other field defaults
- Report options — which sections to include in the final report (spec sheets, staking data, contractor summary)
Most designers use a single persona. If your firm has multiple designers or you produce designs under different business names, you can create additional personas in the Persona Editor.
Selecting a Persona
Choose a persona from the dropdown list. The summary area below the dropdown immediately updates to show the selected persona’s letterhead, signature, contact details, and remittance information.
If only the “Default” persona exists, it is automatically selected.
How It Affects Later Pages
Your persona choice influences the entire wizard:
- Site Investigation — default percolation rate, flow rate
- Dosing to Discharge — default elevation, distance, extra depth
- Pump Selection — surplus head margin requirement
- Finish — report formatting, letterhead, signature, included sections
Tips
- Review your persona’s settings in the Persona Editor before starting a batch of designs. Getting defaults right saves time on every design.
- The “Default” persona is created automatically from your account information. Customize it in the Persona Editor to add your letterhead and signature.
