Finish

The Finish page is the final step in the design wizard. Here you review the generated design report, save your work to your account on the server, purchase a design license, and download the completed documents as PDFs.

Design Report

The main area displays the full design report as rendered HTML. This report is generated from all the data entered throughout the wizard and includes:

  • System summary and site data
  • Supporting calculations
  • Equipment specifications and quantities
  • Bill of materials
  • Installation instructions
  • Staking details
  • Pump curves (when applicable)
  • Manufacturer spec sheets

Image Loading

Product images (tank diagrams, pump curves, component photos) are loaded on demand when you first reach the Finish page. A loading indicator appears while images are fetched from the server. The report is complete once all images have loaded.

Document Tabs

The Finish page can display up to four document tabs:

Tab Always Visible Description
Design Yes The full design report
Plot Plan When a plot plan exists The site layout drawing created in the Plot Plan Editor
Invoice When a balance is owed The invoice generated from the billing page data
File Record When file record content exists The file record / mailing label document

Click a tab to switch the displayed document. Each tab’s content is generated as a separate PDF.

Buttons

Save

Saves the design to the server. For new designs, the server assigns a serial number. For existing designs, the data is updated.

  • The Save button is enabled when the design has unsaved changes.
  • If the design has critical changes, the design status is set back to “disabled” (requiring a new purchase to re-enable).

Purchase

Opens the Payment Manager to purchase a design license. A purchased design is “enabled,” which allows PDF generation and downloading.

  • The Purchase button is enabled after the design has been saved (it must have a serial number and that is assigned on save).

Plot Plan

Opens the Plot Plan Editor in a separate window. When you close the editor, the Finish page updates to reflect any changes to the plot plan.

Download

A dropdown menu of the generated PDFs. Clicking one opens it in a new tab for download. Browser security often prevents mass downloading of documents from a web app, so the surest way to make them available is through this mechanism. Another reason for loading into new tabs is that some browsers do

On most browsers the PDFs can also be downloaded and printed from this page directly from its embedded display. Tablets and phones generally do not have this capability; yet another reason for loading to new tabs.

Each PDF is named using the design’s serial number with an appropriate suffix (e.g., _plotplan, _invoice, _filerecord).

The Download button is enabled only when the design is enabled (purchased) and all applicable PDFs have been generated.

PDF Generation

When a design is enabled (saved and purchased) and all images have loaded, the application automatically generates PDFs for all visible document tabs. A loading spinner appears during generation, and a toast notification appears as each PDF completes:

  • “Design PDF ready”
  • “Plot plan PDF ready”
  • “Invoice PDF ready”
  • “File record PDF ready”

PDFs are generated by sending the HTML content to a server that renders and returns the PDF.

Design Status

The design’s lifecycle status is tracked:

Status Meaning
Disabled Design exists but has not been purchased (or was modified after purchase)
Enabled, not printed Design has been purchased but PDFs have not yet been created
Enabled, printed Design has been purchased and PDFs have been created at least once

Making critical changes to an enabled design (changes that affect the engineering content) resets the status to disabled, requiring a new purchase. Non-critical changes (like updating the mailing address) do not affect the status.

Tips

  • You can return to previous wizard pages to make changes, then come back to Finish to see the updated report.
  • The Plot Plan button lets you create or edit the site drawing without leaving the wizard context.
  • After downloading, the design status updates to “printed”.
